Built for clinicians.
Free for everyone.
MediCalc Pro is a free, open-access medical calculator platform. Every tool runs in your browser, no login required, no data stored — just fast, accurate clinical reference at the point of care.
Why we built this
Clinical calculators exist in dozens of places online. Most of them load slowly, bury the tool under ads, require sign-in, or show results without explaining the methodology. A few are excellent. Most aren't.
We built MediCalc Pro to be the tool we'd want at the bedside: fast, accurate, transparent about its sources, and respectful of the fact that clinicians are busy and patients deserve the right number.
Every calculator on this site links to the peer-reviewed paper behind it. Every formula is documented. Every result comes with the clinical context needed to interpret it.
Our principles
What's covered
MediCalc Pro covers 8 clinical specialties with 45 validated tools.
Accuracy and error reporting
We implement equations from peer-reviewed, validated sources. Before launch, each tool is reviewed against original papers and cross-checked against known reference values. We treat calculation accuracy as a patient safety issue, not a cosmetic one.
Medical guidelines change. If you find an error — a wrong coefficient, an outdated threshold, a missing edge case — please report it. Errors in clinical calculators have real consequences and we take every report seriously.
Report errors at admin@rxtoolspro.com or via the contact page. Include the tool name, values entered, expected result, and the source you're referencing.
Medical advisory note
MediCalc Pro is a clinical reference tool, not a diagnostic system. Every calculator on this site is a reference aid to support — not replace — the clinical judgement of a qualified healthcare professional. Results must always be interpreted in full clinical context, alongside patient history, examination, and current local guidelines.
Calculators involving drug dosing, resuscitation parameters, or risk scores are particularly sensitive to input accuracy and patient-specific factors not captured in any formula. Always verify critical calculations independently and consult your local formulary and protocols.
Mental health screening tools on this site (PHQ-9, GAD-7, PSS-10, Burnout Index) are validated screening aids, not diagnostic instruments. A positive screen requires clinical follow-up by a qualified professional.
